How many guests will travel on each trip with Active By Nature?
Our size varies depending on the accommodations available per trip. Our minimum number of guests is typically 8 with a maximum of 20. Active By Nature allows for more flexibility with private or custom built groups.
Will I feel comfortable traveling solo?
All trips consist of a mix of single travelers or couples. We can assign you a roommate, or you can choose to reserve a single room and pay the single supplement fee. (Please note that this option may vary from tour to tour).
Who will be your guides?
We have the utmost confidence in our professionally trained staff. Our guides will enhance your experience with Active By Nature as they are proficient in the area of their expertise. We're sure they'll exceed your expectations.
Am I physically fit enough to do a trip with Active By Nature? Any person who is moderately fit can take a vacation with Active By Nature's outdoor adventures. We take special care to provide an opportunity for various levels of fitness.
What is included in the price of the trip?
- Experienced guides.
- Transportation to and from the meeting and departure points (at designated times).
- Accommodations, breakfasts, most lunches and dinners each day.
- Gratuities for hotels, porterage and meals.
- Special events entrance fees included in trip itinerary (park entry fees, museums, etc.).

What types of meals will be served?
When you travel with Active By Nature, you can expect the cuisine to be superb, demonstrating a meticulously prepared meal. Given advance notice Active By Nature can accommodate individual dietary requirements.
What are the accommodations like?
Active By Nature chooses the most superb hotels, inns, lodges, or cabins available with-in each region.
What do we do if it rains?
Active By Nature's trips will go on whether rain or shine. An experience in the rain can be a splendid one, especially when you're dressed appropriately. Your packet of information will include a detailed list of suggested items to bring. However, if you choose not to go, your guide may suggest alternative options for you.
What type of gear/equipment do I need to take on a trip with Active By Nature?
A detailed list of the proper equipment is customized and included in every packet prior to your scheduled trip.
