Join us on an overnight kayak excursion meandering down the Connecticut River, we'll camp along the river's edge and take in the pristine and peaceful wilderness around us.

The trip will begin at the Governor Hunt Recreation area below Vernon Dam in Vermont, and will follow a 20 mile section of the Connecticut River to Barton's Cove, in Gill, Massachusetts. After a few miles of paddling we'll stretch our legs at the Paugaug Meadow Boat Ramp area where we'll enjoy lunch along the waters edge

As we continue down the river we'll look for bald eagle, great blue heron, ducks, egrets, king fisher, otter, beaver and other wildlife along the way. Eventually stopping at Munn's Ferry Campsite, where we'll pitch our tents for the night. Here we'll enjoy a shared dinner, relax and get to know each other around the campfire before we turn in for the evening. After breakfast, and tearing down our campsites, we'll continue down the river, through the French King Gorge section passing under the well known French King bridge heading towards our destination of Barton's Cove.
