Petersham/Quabbin Bike and Hike

Come prepared to explore a portion of the vast maze of old roads, on your way to a truly amazing overlook of the Quabbin Reservoir. Along the way we will take time to enjoy some interesting history of the making of the Quabbin Reservoir. At the mid-point we'll trade our cycling shoes for trail shoes and embark upon the climb up "Rattlesnake Hill" where we will take a short break and enjoy fantastic views.

Our ride will be both challenging and enjoyable over paved and some dirt country roads. We"ll stop for lunch along the beautiful shoreline of the Quabbin Reservoir where we'll enjoy a hearty lunch. The return ride will help you to work off some of those calories.
