Reservation & Cancellation Information:
Important: The following information describes Active By Nature,
Inc.'s policies regarding our trips. Please read them carefully, as
payment for deposit represents an acceptance by the participant of these
terms.
To Register for trips involving more than two days: Please submit a
deposit of 25% of the trip cost, either by check or money order. Reference
the particular trip name, amount, and date of departure you are registering
for. The balance is due 60 days prior to the departure date. If the
balance is not received by the due date, Active By Nature, Inc. reserves
the right to treat the reservation as a cancellation. Prices do not
reflect airfare, and are a per person cost. After you make your
reservation, you will receive a packet of information which includes
important detailed information about your trip.
Cancellations and Refunds on trips involving more than two days: In the
event that you cancel your trip, your 25% deposit is nonrefundable. A fee
of 50% of the full price of the trip is charged for cancellations received
in writing between 30 - 60 days prior to the departure date. Any
cancellations received in writing less than 30 days prior to the departure
date will be charged the full price of the trip.
Active By Nature reserves the right to cancel or alter a trip due to
insufficient registration, unsafe conditions, or bad weather. This will
occur 30 days or more prior to departure date and will result in a full
refund. Active By Nature, Inc. is not responsible for any additional
expenses incurred by a client in preparation of the trip, including
airfare.
To Register for trips involving scheduled programs, day & weekend trips:
Please submit a deposit of 50% of the trip cost, either by check or money
order. Reference the particular trip name, amount, and date you are
registering for. The balance is due 7 days prior to the trip date. After
you register, you will receive a packet of information which includes
important detailed information about your trip.
Cancellations and Refunds involving scheduled programs, day & weekend
trips: In the event that you should cancel your trip, your deposit is
nonrefundable. Any cancellations received in writing with-in 7 days or
less will be charged the full price of the trip.
Active By Nature reserves the right to cancel or alter a trip due to
insufficient registration, unsafe conditions, or bad weather. This may
occur within a day prior to the trip and will result in a full refund.
Active By Nature, Inc. is not responsible for any additional expenses
incurred by a client in preparation of the trip.
Insurance Information: We recommend that participants purchase travel
insurance to help cover the cost of possible trip cancellation, lost
baggage, trip delay, accident/life, evacuation and any other unforeseen
medical emergencies. We will be happy to provide you with policy
information or you may choose to purchase coverage through your own
insurance company. Please feel free to contact us for more information
regarding travel insurance.
Trip fee includes: Accommodations, permit fees, all meals indicated on the
itinerary, instruction & equipment for activities indicated on itinerary,
museum costs, packet of forms including important detailed information
about your trip, suggested clothing and equipment list, transportation
while on trip, professional, pleasant and well informed guides.
Trip fee does not include: Airfare, transportation to the trip starting
point, expenses due to delays or bad weather, alcoholic beverages,
sickness, medical and evacuation costs, flight delays, visa or departure
taxes, government action, and personnel expenses.
Medical: Our trips can be at times physically challenging, and we may
travel into areas where medical facilities are not immediately available.
Active By Nature, Inc. assumes no liability regarding the necessities of
medical care or attention. Persons with medical problems, physical
limitations and/or who have special medication requirements or allergies
must make them known on the medical form. Active By Nature, Inc., has the
right to exclude any member from the group if the participant is physically
or emotionally unfit for the expedition. Refunds are not considered under
these circumstances.
